Music for the Soul
What mood do you want to be in? Happy, relaxed, ready to party tunes, reflective, soulful, in love, chillin? Music has a magic way of taking us to far away places. It transforms us to a place we want to remember. And what road trip is complete without a stack of CDs, cassette tapes (yes, I still have mine!), and a never-ending playlist.
Depending on what we are working on, different playlists help with creativity, brainstorming, and motivation. So you can say it is a job requirement to listen on repeat.
2023 Update!
My mini-me niece Annie turned 16 in June. She made a playlist for her birthday party. Why not, right!? It has a little bit of everything and I am updating what I’m listening to for her. Happy Birthday, Annie Kat! Can’t wait to see what your junior year brings you. It was such a fun time in my life and these songs and memories will last forever! Enjoy building the soundtrack of your year.
Here is what we were listening to in 2021:
Eastern Washington always has a place in my heart. GO COUGS!!!! If you know, you know. The Gorge was always a part of a mecca for music lovers to attend some of the best shows. Ahem, Pearl Jam!?
“If music be the food of love, play on.”
– William Shakespeare
Uniting The World Through Notes
Music is the only universal language. Have you ever thought about that? If you can read music (and play!), you can communicate in any country in the world.
Let us know what you like to jam to or send us a link to your favorite Spotify playlists. Follow us! But get ready, we love all styles. Some might surprise you and introduce you to some new tunes and artists.
Summer Vibes
Make your own playlists for different events! Whether you’re headed to BottleRock in Napa, a weekend in wine country, an annual event like Grape Days of Summer, or just headed out on a road trip, make a theme! Music is always good for the soul!
Cheers
